In the beginning

It all started many years ago in 1981 when Mary was visiting Provincetown on vacation. On her last night in town she wandered into Ruby's former jewelry store, where the boisterous saleswoman soon sold Mary her first piece of serious jewelry - a 14kt gold tri-color herringbone necklace. The whole encounter made quite an impression on both women. The rest, as they say, is history. The meeting was fated and Mary DeRocco and Ruby Druss opened Ruby's Provincetown Fine Jewelry in 1990.
